USP for Essence of Cake

WHAT WAS THE TASK?

Having worked with brand consultants previously, Tracey, owner of Essence of Cake, still struggled to pin-point what was so unique about her business.

My task was to encapsulate her key skills into a short statement to help develop her brand voice, and marketing activity.

What was the approach?

During my research with Tracey about her company and background, I was able to identify the skills and experience (aside from baking amazing cakes, or course!) that she developed in her previous career, and how she can demonstrate this in her own company.

Essence of Cake’s brand is deliberately not ‘pink,’ and Tracey was keen to stand out as stylish, elegant, and sophisticated.

This is especially evident in her Afternoon Tea delivery service - you really must try it!
