I was a service manager for an international airline— the expert in understanding what a customer wanted, and needed, at each step of their journey.
Every day was spent writing convincing presentations and business cases achieving the impossible and persuading sceptical department heads to spend their budgets on making our customer experience better.
I would cut through that scepticism and be the voice of the customer in the boardroom.
Until one day, a killer virus turned the world upside down…

Finding myself with a lot more time on my hands, I did what most people would do in that situation and embarked on a journey of self-discovery via Netflix and social media
It was a fun afternoon.
But all that social media scrolling and checking out website after website made me realise I could put my experience and persuasion superpowers to great use by helping brands find their voice, tell their story, and win new fans with killer copy, bursting with benefit.
And without all that hard sell and marketing lingo.
