WHAT WAS THE TASK?

Create an About Me page for Tracey, owner of Essence of Cake to support the relaunch of her website, Essence of Cake.

A secondary task was to distill Tracey’s past corporate experience into a Unique Proposition Statement to help encapsulate what sets her apart from her competition.

What was the approach?

One of the first things I discovered when getting to know Tracey was how baking was embedded in her earliest childhood memories, and so closely related to her Grandma.

I wanted to inject this emotion and sense of family into Tracey’s page and reassure customer that she puts her passion into every cake she bakes.
